New York Sour Cocktail

Ingredients & Instructions

  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz fruity red wine (Zinfandel or Gamay)
  • 1 strip lemon zest

Add all ingredients and ice to shaker.
Shake until shaker is cold to the touch.
Strain drink into glass filled with ice.
Gently pour wine over the back of a spoon, letting wine float at top of the glass.
Serve immediately.
