Static HTML Website
For this assignment, a group of 5 of us were instructed to create a static HTML site with a minimum of 9 pages. We chose to create our website based on a fictional business: a coffee shop and bookstore combo. This assignment provided us with hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, site navigation, and the creation of a static website. WordPress Website
Going off of the static website mentioned above, I was tasked to individually re-design the static website using a Content Management System (WordPress). I additionally re-vamped the material from the static HTML website to flow better and be more cohesive. This assignment provided me with hands-on experience creating a robust website with multi-media resources and customized functionality. I gained experience using a multitude of plug-ins including SEO Yoast, Enivira Gallery, PDF Embedder, WP Google Maps, Forminator Pro, and more. I additionally gained experience with graphic design by re-designing a new logo and a PDF drink menu. By clicking the image above, you can navigate to the re-designed robust website.
