If money is an obstacle to paying for your degree, don’t br discouraged. Funding is likely available. Here are some FAFSA tips:
Fill out the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year you attend school.
This application is required for all federal funding sources (including grants and student loans). It only takes a few minutes to complete, and your information can be imported from your previous year’s tax return.

Funding may be available from your employer!
Additionally, some companies offer tuition reimbursement for eligible employees. Also, if you work as a public employee, you may have some tuition fees waived. Many MLIS programs are now offered online during the evenings or asynchronously, allowing you to attend school while keeping that full-time job.
