This assignment was to critique an existing website in terms of its effectiveness. The purpose of the assignment is to analyze various aspects of web design principles applied in a specific case. This assignment meets the MSIS program learning outcomes of 8 and 9. The 8th learning outcome is to assess and implement systems that serve users effectively and efficiently. By critiquing a site, we are able to understand how a site meets this requirement of information delivery. Learning outcome 9 is to analyze information processing and apply it to everyday life. This assignment allows us to meet this requirement by understanding how websites are utilized daily.
