Hi All!

I am Sahara O. L. Scott, a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee with my Master of Science in Information Sciences. I am seeking to work as a UX Librarian.

Currently, I reside in Lawrence, KS reshaping the way I think and working as a Teen Services Librarian at the Lawrence Public Library (LPL). I partner with UrbArts in St. Louis as a visual and teaching artist. Sahara travels and performs poetry in person and virtually across the nation.

I also am a brand ambassador, social media expert, UX researcher, and UI designer. In my current role at LPL I am the TikTok Manager and editor of our site. I continue to strive to create access for our patrons and include my creativity along the way. Through innovative initiatives, I have been able to increase the visibility of our social media platforms.

In 2020, I started OUR SOuLS LLC, an empowerment production company to promote physical wellness, host writing and performance workshops, and to support growth in the artist community.
