Skills Used
Summary

For this test I used www.urbarts.org a non-profit organization I work with.

Observations

1)The site was responsive in multiple formats as you can see below and I believed that it performed well on all of the devices. My only criticism was that the photos became quite large in the landscape view.

2) I think the website performs well because it is visually appealing, it has an interactive navigation menu that is easy to navigate and see, and I also think it translates well to a smaller device. I think the responsive design includes all of the aspects of the site. There are moving parts of the design that stayed in the phone version without losing the quality of the photos in the banner.

3) From this exercise I learned that it is important to have a responsive website that can be compatible with a multitude of devices. I forget landscape is another view on the phone that it is necessary to design for. I realize the importance of thinking of the user’s everyday interactions with a site and that the functionality remains.
