Commercial Alliance provides training and education for all levels of credit union employees, from CEO’s to analysts. We work with our credit unions to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities of anyone involved in the process of commercial lending.

Here are some of the programs we offer:

  1. Regional Training
    • Four-day classes conducted around the state providing up-to-date information regarding documentation and procedures for back office staff.
  2. Monthly Webinars
    • Our forum to deliver information regarding the current environment of business lending; share best practices among our Member Credit Unions and provide guidance for any upcoming regulatory or compliance changes.
  3. Classroom Training
    • These are one to three-hour sessions conducted at our home office in Troy or at a remote location. Generally, we offer four courses throughout the year.
  4. Customized Training
    • When needed, Commercial Alliance will make key members of its staff available to our Member Credit Unions to meet in person or by webinar to cover specific topics of interest.

Commercial Alliance is a proud member of the Regional CUSO Alliance (RCA) that works collaboratively to identify and solve upcoming regulatory or product issues around the country. We are one of 16 current members.
